LithSeal SC

Lithium silicate concrete sealer/densifier

LithSeal SC is a top-quality lithium silicate sealer, densifier, and hardener designed for concrete surfaces. It effectively penetrates and chemically reacts with cured concrete to form a durable calcium silicate hydrate within the concrete pores. This process enhances the surface by making it more breathable, reducing porosity and dusting, decreasing water permeability, and improving abrasion resistance. Unlike other sodium silicate products, LithSeal SC does not leave a whitish residue, maintaining the natural appearance of the concrete.

  • Efficiently reduces application costs through a simple, one-step, low-pressure spray application.
  • Suitable for achieving architectural finishes without contributing to Alkali Surface Reaction (ASR) and avoiding the white residue common with other silicate products.
  • Significantly reduces dusting, porosity, and water permeability while improving abrasion resistance, light reflectance, and gloss.
  • Offers deeper penetration than conventional silicates.
  • Usable both indoors and outdoors, maintaining breathability.
  • Quick drying, ready for traffic within an hour for most floors.
  • Applicable to new or existing concrete floors.
  • Environmentally friendly and cost-effective.
  • Requires only a single, low maintenance application.
  • USDA accepted for a range of concrete floor classes including super flat floors.

Application

  • Can be applied to freshly placed or existing (cured) concrete, ensuring surfaces are clean of cures, bond breakers, oil, dirt, grease, or debris.
  • For freshly placed concrete: Apply with a quality low-pressure sprayer and uniformly spread to avoid puddles or excess. Keep surface wet for 15-20 minutes.
  • For existing concrete: Clean surface with a 60-100 grit sanding screen or diamond abrasive pad, then apply LithSeal SC in a single saturating coat, ensuring even coverage.
