ASTM 881 compliant hi-mod, medium viscosity epoxy
SpecPoxy 2000 is a two-component, multi-purpose, high-modulus, moisture-tolerant epoxy bonding adhesive that meets ASTM C881 requirements for Types I, II, IV & V, grade 2, classes B&C. This medium-viscosity, 100% solids, solvent-free adhesive is designed for a range of uses including bonding fresh concrete to hardened concrete, anchoring bolts, dowels, and reinforcing steel, and gravity filling cracks in concrete.

Application
Mixing Instructions:
- Premix each component separately, then mix one part of Part A with one part of Part B for three minutes using a low-speed drill.
- Ensure all materials are at least 40°F prior to mixing and installation.
Surface Preparation:
- Surfaces must be clean and structurally sound, free from oil, grease, dirt, and other contaminants.
- Recommended methods include abrasive blast cleaning and mechanical removal.
- Ensure drilled holes are cleaned out with a cylindrical bristle brush and oil-free compressed air.
Application Techniques:
- Bonding: Apply at a rate of 80 sq ft per gallon, approximately 20 mils in thickness. If not tacky, reapply after cleaning the surface.
- Anchoring: Use appropriate hole depths and ensure no air pockets or voids. Mix with silica sand for patching repairs.
Packaging
- Available in 1 gallon units, 2 gallon units, 10 gallon units, and 22 oz. dual cartridges.
Shelf Life
- Store in original, tightly closed containers in a clean, dry area. Properly stored, the shelf life is two years from the date of manufacture.
