Application

  • Penetrating crack healer/sealer
  • Bonding concrete, steel, and wood
  • Gravity feed or pressure injection for crack repairs
  • Anchoring bolts, dowels, and reinforcing bars

Mixing Instructions

  • Condition materials to 75°F for ease of mixing and application.
  • Mix two parts of component A and one part of component B by volume using a low-speed drill and Jiffy mixer for three minutes.
  • For cartridges, ensure uniform dispensing and mixing through a nozzle.

Surface Preparation

  • Surfaces must be clean, dry, and structurally sound.
  • Remove contaminants by sandblasting or mechanical abrasion.
  • For pressure injection, prepare surfaces adjacent to cracks to expose clean, sound concrete.

Application Techniques

  • Crack Injection: Use SpecPoxy 3000 FS for setting injection ports and sealing crack surfaces before injecting SpecPoxy 500.
  • Gravity Filling: Clean surface cracks thoroughly before applying mixed SpecPoxy 500 until rejection.
  • Bonding: Apply a neat layer of SpecPoxy 500 and ensure the glue line does not exceed 1/16 inch.

Packaging

  • Available in 1 gallon units, 3 gallon units, 15 gallon units, and 15 oz dual cartridges.

Shelf Life

  • Store in original, tightly closed containers in a clean, dry area between 40°F and 90°F. Shelf life is two years from the date of manufacture.
