Application

Surface Preparation

  • Ensure the concrete surface is clean, dry, or slightly damp, and free of all stains, oil, grease, dirt, and incompatible coatings.

Application Instructions

  • Ready to use; do not dilute. Apply with a sprayer in uniform thin films for best results. Two thin coats are recommended over one heavy coat to avoid puddles and ensure even coverage.
  • For curing: 300 – 400 sq ft per gallon.
  • For dustproofing and sealing: 400 – 600 sq ft per gallon.
  • Apply a second coat after the first has thoroughly dried for enhanced gloss and protection, especially on rough or broom-finished concrete.

For New Concrete:

  • Apply as soon as the surface water has disappeared and the concrete can be worked without being marred. Apply in a uniform coat, with a second coat at 400 sq ft per gallon for a superior finish and added protection.

For Existing Concrete:

  • Application will renovate existing concrete, brick, or terrazzo floors, making them brighter and easier to maintain.

Packaging

  • Available in 5 gallon pails.

Shelf Life

Two years from the date of manufacture when stored in the original tightly closed containers. Avoid the accumulation of water, dirt, or other contaminants.

Coverage

Coverage may vary based on the porosity and condition of the concrete.

Standards

  • Meets ASTM C-1315 and ASTM C 309, Type 1, Classes A&B.
  • VOC content less than 350g/l, complying with Federal AIM rule VOC requirements and regional standards for concrete curing compounds.

Cleaning

Clean application equipment immediately with xylene or other approved solvents after use.
