Share the Success: TVH Warehouse – Industrial Concrete Floor
This is what collaboration and teamwork is all about.
Local SpecChem Sales Management worked closely with the general contractor, A.L. Huber Construction, the concrete subcontractor, Bedrock Concrete, and waterproofing and restoration contractor, JACOR Contracting, to provide a solid solution utilizing our system of concrete products on a recent warehouse project in the Kansas City area.
Our system of compatible products – designed especially for industrial and commercial concrete surfaces – consisted of:
- Our non-metallic dry-shake Quartz Floor Hardener provided impact and abrasion resistance, as well as improved resistances to liquids
- An evaporation retardant – our SpecFilm – was used to keep the concrete open and allow the dry-shake hardener to more easily integrate
- E-Cure, an innovative water-based concrete curing compound, to dustproof and provide some resistances to acids, oils, greases, salts and tire marks
- SpecHard, a water-based siliconate sealer/densifier to ensure a hardened, densified substrate and increased wear-resistance
- Rapid Flex CJ, our rapid curing, semi-rigid polyurea control joint filler, ideal for joints expecting heavy forklift traffic
It’s great to be able to work with outstanding organizations – like these – in the field every day. But it’s even better when you have solid, proven products and solutions that add value to their projects through innovation, engineering and efficiency.
